Our first co-sponsored Austin user group event with Oracle was a success, thanks to all of the eager modern marketers who attended! The group met at the Oracle Waterfront Offices to enjoy a lunch-and-learn style event while listening to speakers from both National Instruments and Oracle. Review insights from both presenters in the slides below.
Joe Quinn from National Instruments led a discussion on his organization’s award-winning Account-Based Marketing (ABM) program. He started with a review of account-based marketing and why it is important. He then discussed how to best determine your aligned accounts and how to structure your sales team for success. His presentation proved the power of ABM in your marketing kit and detailed the steps needed to ensure success.
Covering one of the hottest topics in email marketing, GDPR, was David Jacobsen of Oracle. GDPR has been virtually impossible to ignore this year, and for good reason. David walked through a high-level overview of what GDPR means for marketers and their organizations, how to properly prepare for it, and which resources are needed for compliance.
We thank everyone who attended this event, and we look forward to building our modern marketing community through future Austin user group event. If you didn’t make it this time – we hope to see you soon!
