The Raleigh Oracle Marketing Cloud User Group held their quarterly meeting at the offices of Hill, Chesson & Woody on August 3rd. We had a small but interactive group of attendees and enjoyed a lively session surrounding the importance of data within the marketing organization. Here’s a photo of our lovely attendees!

After covering releases, we dove into “Marketing in a Data-Driven World,” co-presented by Tracy Milligan, Marketing Advisor for Oracle Marketing Cloud and Emily Eubanks, Senior Marketing Consultant for Relationship One. During the discussion, we touched on:

  • Types of data we find in a marketing environment
  • The importance of understanding your data
  • Planning your data management strategy
  • Data governance best practices

We would like to thank our hosts Hill, Chesson & Woody for allowing us to meet in their beautiful training facility and making us all feel so welcomed!
